NaNoWriMo time again

November 1. Time that begin that second novel. This time there's help. I have the application for my phone  called WriteRoom for on the go writing. So it's good to have something I can work on when inspiration strikes, like when I am not at my desk.

Very happy with my MOO business cards. They arrived earlier than expected, and look fabulous. Don't you think?

I now have the official titles for She series of paintings I am working on. Though more elaborate than "Blue Woman" for instance, I feel the titles are more fitting. I have updated it all on my flickr page.

Drawings for Children's book are coming along. Slowly but surely.

Your Childhood Halloween Memories?

Here are a few of mine:

My sisters and I trick-or-treated enough years to tell the "preferred" candy (name brand) from the "save for emergency" candy (generic).

Making my own costumes. I could make them from everything in the house, no need to buy anything.

We knew which house had the live scarecrow that always frightened us, but went anyway.

One of us always had a costume item that while wearing: broke, came loose, or felt very uncomfortable.

We counted the bag contents to see who had the most candy, then split it evenly.

Fixin to...

After creating the first one, I had to make this bookmark for the old man, who always taught me how to "make stuff".  Couldn't resist.

Owl will always love...

Can you guess what book this is?  Hint: It's a Children's book. (A little something for my Momma, who always made sure we had plenty of books around.)

Staying home with a cold should mean getting more work done, right?  Let me not beat myself up.  After Monday night's episode with a sick little doggie, also known as Poo Poo Incident of 2009, here are the highlights, in no particular order:

-Cleaned The Bathroom again, just to make sure. (So glad we rushed her there).

-Re-washed her towels, because, well, you know.

-Started a new painting from a series of four seasons.

-Began video on said works for later use.

-Opened, figured out, and used my new paint keeper "system"

-Prepared, not to be confused with cooked, dinner.

-Changed the flickr badge on this page.

Maybe some progress was made after all.
